WHAT IS A DEGEN VEGAN?

They are still mysterious creatures, but we do know a little about them. They are small, round, green, and plant-like. We know they are vegan and have random degenerate traits...hence Degen Vegans. It is unclear how the process starts, but they start their life as a small fruit growing on any tree.

Once 'ripe', they will fall from the tree and shed their leaves to reveal their true form. Due to having this symbiotic relationship with trees, Degen Vegans are always green and have a photosynthesis ability. This results in them being the ultimate vegan since they only need sunlight and water to survive. Each Degen Vegan has varying traits, especially in their limbs. Some believe this is influenced by one of their greatest joys in life which is to hand out fruit to others.

Different environments demand different fruit gathering methods. So, it is theorized that the Degen Vegans have acquired these different traits to help gather the fruit. When Degen Vegans are born and fall from the tree; they do not have their trusty fruit bowl with them. Their immediate instinct is to go find one and it becomes quite precious to them. Observations have been made that they can vary from warriors to scholars to beasts to plants and to being quite simple.

Ultimately, it is clear they are focused on creating communities that do good for themselves and others. The limits seem never ending when it comes to their skills and the way they look. They are a welcoming bunch and only have good intentions!”
